Oh! what a musical morning!
Oh! what a whimsical day!
We get to listen to music,
We get to sing, dance, and play...

NEVADA COUNTY LIBRARY
MUSICAL MORNING SERIES

on whimsical Wednesdays!

“One of our favorite events! Having toddlers charge the stage is one of the most enchanting experiences imaginable. I'm serious. Puts a huge smile on my face.”
– Maggie McKaig, Beaucoup Chapeaux

“Simply magic! Little ones experience live music with real instruments, and the moving and dancing proves how deeply music is rooted in the human brain. Older folks are entranced by the quality of our local musicians and get a trip down memory lane watching the kids.”
– Keith Porter

Free Mini-concerts geared toward young minds – fun for all ages!

Madelyn Helling Library in Nevada City

Musical Mornings is a popular summer series of free Wednesday morning concerts where kids can sing, squirm and dance, and adults can relax and enjoy (or sing and dance too!) The collaboration between the Nevada County library and InConcert Sierra presents live music experiences with a fun educational twist at the Marian E. Gallaher, M.D. Amphitheater, adjacent to the Madelyn Helling Library at the Rood Center. Bring your snacks and a lawn chair or blanket and be ready for an hour of engaging music performed by local and regional professional musicians.
